Concrete Artz Silicon Carbide Waterproof Sandpaper is designed for sanding Snow Casting Powder, cement, gypsum, plaster, terrazzo and other casting projects.
Its waterproof backing allows it to be used dry or with water, making it suitable for everything from revealing terrazzo patterns to refining and smoothing finished surfaces.

Choose Your Grit
240 Grit | Coarse
Recommended for white and grey cement.
Use for initial shaping, levelling and removing rough surfaces.
320 Grit | Coarse
Recommended for Snow Casting Powder.
Ideal for revealing terrazzo chips, removing casting imperfections and shaping the surface.
1000 Grit | Fine
Use after 240 or 320 grit to smooth the surface and reduce sanding marks.
1500 Grit | Extra Fine
For further refining and achieving a smoother finish.
2000 Grit | Ultra Fine
For final finishing and an extra smooth, refined surface.
The higher the grit number, the finer the sandpaper.
For Terrazzo Projects
To reveal terrazzo patterns:
Start with the recommended coarse grit to expose the embedded terrazzo chips.
Sand evenly until the desired pattern appears.
Progress to 1000, 1500 or 2000 grit to smooth and refine the surface.
Rinse or wipe away sanding residue before sealing.
Wet Sanding
Wet sanding is especially useful for casting projects as it can help:
Reduce sanding dust
Keep the abrasive surface cleaner
Produce a smoother finish
Make sanding more comfortable on larger pieces
The sandpaper can be immersed in water or used directly with water during sanding.
